Mrs. Vika Thaler, a resident of Yerushalayim, Israel, who survived the Holocaust to build a large Chabad family, passed away on Monday, 10 Adar, 5781.
She was 93.
A Holocaust survivor, she survived Auschwitz including beatings by Dr. Mengela himself.
She was sent to the “left”/gas chambers 3 times but was miraculously saved at the last minute, each time.
She merited that all her grandchildren are chassidim of the Rebbe and many of her grandchildren serve as Shluchim around the world.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Shloma Gedalya Thaler of Yerushlayim and Mrs. Raizel Landa of Crown Heights.
