Mrs. Sheindel Bekerman, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother from Toronto, Canada, passed away on Thursday, 7 Kislev, 5786.
She was 102 years old.
Sheindel grew up in a suburb of Kishinev, Moldova, and survived the Holocaust, building a proud Jewish family.
After the war, she made aliyah to Israel and eventually moved to Canada with her family.
She was married to Chaim Pinchas Bekerman, who passed away at the age of 105.
She was a loving, devoted mother, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her two children Joseph (Marcelle) and Anna (Michael) and grandchildren, Vidal (Chana Leah), Odelia (Melech), Ruzana (Danny), and Tali (Evan).
Shiva will be held at Joseph and (Marcelle) Bekerman’s home at 159 Sassafras Thornhill, Ontario
