In a newly invigorated effort to feed Crown Heights families in need, Mrs. Devorah Scheiner has once again distributed much-needed food items.
This year’s Pesach distribution took place the day before the Yartzeit of her beloved husband Herschel Scheiner obm, in whose memory she has dedicated the fund.
As always, hundreds of Crown Heights families will receive chickens and fish as well as other important items for their Yom Tov tables.
“Many organizations have begun distributing food packages,” said Mrs. Scheiner, “but unfortunately the need is greater than ever, and families continue to count on our help to get through the Yomim Tovim.”
