Mrs. Sara Loebenstein, a resident of Melbourne, Australia, passed away Monday, 8 Av, 5773.
Mrs. Loebenstein was born in 1923 in Melbourne, Australia to her parents Moshe and Rickel Honig, of the illustrious Yerushalmi Honig family.
Her parents arrived in Australia in the early 1920’s from what was then Palestine and established a proud Jewish family and life in Melbourne.
Together with her late husband, the esteemed Reb Elchonon Loebenstein obm, they raised a family of six children.
She had a lot of Nachas seeing her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren following in the ways of Torah and Mitzvos. She recently celebrated her birthday surrounded by her family from around the world.
She is survived by her children: Talilah May, Shulamit Greenbaum, Yirmi Loebenstein, Yossi Loebenstein, Tirzah Broh and Yedidah Lewis, all of Melbourne, Australia.
She is also survived by her sister Ella Barr.
The levaya took place on Monday in Melbourne.
The family will be sitting Shiva at her home, 545 Inkerman Road, Caulfield North.

Everybody knows every shabbos day after the meal the entire Loebenstein family get together to see and spend time with booba.
