Mrs. Ruth Averbuch, a longtime resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Friday, 2 Iyar, 5784.
She was 89.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Chaim Gershon Steinmetz of Southfield MI, Dr. Chana Silberstein of Ithaca NY, and Rabbi Avrohom Meir Binyomin Steinmetz of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
She is survived by her siblings, Mrs. Batya Wagner of Toronto, Mrs. Amina Newman of Long Beach CA, Mr. Joseph Daniel Schochet of Toronto, Rabbi Elisha Shochet of Toronto, Rabbi Ovadia Schochet in Miami and Rabbi Ezra Schochet in Los Angeles.
The Levaya will pass by 770 today at 1:10pm.
Kevurah will be at 1098 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095
