What a distinguished gracious woman., who deeply deeply cared and deeply loved. May gan eden welcome her.
Sorry to the Taub’s for your tremendous loss, may your mother continue to see a lot of nachas from you both.
Surely Rabbi Shais will increase the drosho’s he has blessed the world with and Dovid will increase his video recordings we all enjoy.
I will wait to console when you get to Pittsburgh.
Rabbi Shais. Im not sure youll see this. But,,,,as a fervent follower (you dont know me, despite our interactions) of yours on line, I remember the ultimate respect you gave to your Father OB”M last year. It shows on what kind of son you are.
Much contributed to the education your Mom gave you, reflective on her piety.
May she protect & guide you in your important work & Shlichos you do.
May she be a source of blessings to you always and forever.
Rivkah touched the lives of so many with her authentic Yiddishkeit, and excellence as an educator and child professional.
I am fortunate for her friendship, and the time we spent in each other’s homes.
Her children carry on their parents‘ unique creativity, and are changing the world , one Neshama at a time…

She was my shadchan. She somehow knew we would get married even before we met even though she barely knew either of us. She and Dr. Gershom hosted me in their house the entire time I dated and lent me their car for all of the dates, even once making arrangements for a borrowed car when they need it at the same time. She treated me like a son. He would speak to me for long times in the evenings giving me his sage advice. She passed away today on my 10th wedding anniversary.
Rivkah Taub OBM was amazing! I met her one Simchas Torah in Hadar ha Torah and we had several lovely conversations. She was very into human and extended family connection, saying things like “your sister-in-law’s sister is like your sister” Rivkah invited me to Rabbi Shais and Brucha’s wedding and she accompanied Brucha around Crown Heights pre chasunah with such respect like a queen. I was so happy to see her in Pittsburgh years later where again we had only meaningful conversations. Rivkah left an unforgettable impression on me. May her memory be for a big blessing. For Rabbi Shais,… Read more »
To the whole family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Bubbie Taub was an amazing lady and she left a forever impression, as did Zaide whose loss was also felt here.
I hope you are wrapped in love and know that we’re thinking of you from Milwaukee as well.

She was a true Ashes Chail!!! This was shown through her unwavering love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and the Jewish community as well! We were blessed with the time we were able to spend with her in Milwaukee when Rabbi and Brocha Taub lead our community. May her memory be for a blessing! May her family be comforted by the mourners of Zion and Yerushalaem.
Rabbi Shais Taub, within the last month, I found you online, and I can’t tell you how much you have opened my eyes to myself. I was listening one of your lectures; “How to be here” in my car. And, you were talking about a shiva within your lecture, when the message came through about your mother. I cannot express how sad I was to learn of this. Losing your mother tilts the world off of its axis permanently. This is an immeasurable loss. I know from your lectures and inner strength, that you will get past this. My thoughts… Read more »

One day in the local kosher market in Pittsburgh, Dovid Taub, who was always looking out for his Mom, approached me and said his mother was moving to Pittsburgh. He asked if I would welcome her and introduce her to my friends, and I said I would. Several weeks later Rivkah arrived, and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship! We got to know each other pretty quickly as I regularly drove Rivkah to the hospital to visit her husband. We immediately clicked on so many levels. What I most admired about Rivkah was her enormous supply of positive… Read more »
