What a special woman!
Mrs. Herman was regal, refined and down-to-earth, a true lady in every sense of the word. Her beautifully cultivated flowers graced many a Shabbos Kallah and Pittsburgh N’shei event. I’m happy she’s reunited with her dear husband Z”L but what a loss for our community! Yehi Zichrah Boruch.

We are so thankful to have known her. I remember her special way of teaching especially typing on the computer! BD”E
Irreplaceable
Rita was extraordinary. And what style she had. Does anyone remember the swing in her living room? As a child in Pittsburgh, visiting my grandparents with whom she was very close, I was enchanted by the swing and the sun room and her garden.
I remember her speaking at the Zohar Lunch or Shalosh seuda for the Mother =Daughter Shabbaton. Yes, regal, amazing and awe inspiring. What a tremendous loss to Pittsburgh, her family and Klal Yisroel.
