So sorry to hear the news. Mrs Wichnin was a real jem of a person. Always helping whoever she can. I remember her coming to visit my mother when she was not well and bringing over special juices to help alleviate the pain. She did so much good in her life, and raised a beautiful family.
I was 5 when Rabbi Wichnin, Rosh Yeshiva and Menahel told my parents to place me in the Lubavitch Yeshiva , in Boston, Mass. With Abundant Thanks that the the Rebbe sent his exemplary Shluchim, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Wichnin. It is to their honor that I and my family owe all that I have, a Torah Gifted life. Rebbetzin Wichnin was deeply loved and respected, and cared about each and every one of us. I can never repay the far reaching influence of their gift of Torah and following in our Rebbe’s ways. May we say Thank You for all… Read more »
she was a huge humble person, a fabulous teacher who I adored. She taught me so much not only in material but by example. I feel fortunate to have had her in my life BH. May her family be comforted.
She was my teacher in Bais Rivkah Seminary. I met her a number of years ago at a wedding and we had a chance to talk. I told her that every time I say Chitas for P. Kedoshim, I still remember her class. May her family be comforted.
Morah Wichnin was a very special woman. I still remember her teachings these many years ago.
I went to Bais Rivka for 14 years and Morah Vichnin was the best teacher I ever had
Though I never had Mrs. Vichnin as a classroom teacher; she spoke to the women in Monsey and gave classes on navi.
I knew her sister Shoshana Minkowitz, I saw her in Bais Binyomin on Shabbos, when I would go to Crown Heights to visit my mom
