Mrs. Leah Zilberstrom, a mother and grandmother from Jerusalem, passed away on Wednesday, 1 Teves, 5781.
She was 63.
Mrs. Zilberstrom was the daughter of Rabbi Benzion and Mrs. Chaya Clara Shagalow obm.
She was the wife of Rabbi Binyomin Nochum Zilberstrom, a Mashpia in Toras Emes Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and founder of the Heichal Menachem Library in Jerusalem.
Mrs. Zilberstrom recently battled a terrible illness, and on the 6th night of Chanukah, she passed away.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Binyomin Nochum Zilberstrom, and children Rabbi Moshe Dovber Zilberstrom – Elad, Israel, Rabbi Sholom Simcha Zilberstrom – Tzfas, Israel, Mrs. Esther Fradel Hertzel – Givat Zeev, Israel, Mrs. Chana Shaina Grossman – Moscow, Rabbi Yitzchok Elchonon Zilberstrom – Nof Hagalil, Israel, Mrs. Raizel Beck – Beitar Illit, Israel, Mrs. Batsheva Holtzberg – Nof Hagalil, Israel, Mrs. Menucha Lieberman – Hong Kong, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Zilberstrom – Crown Heights, Rabbi Yosef Tuvia Zilberstrom – Crown Heights, and Eliezer Zilberstrom – Jerusalem.
She is also survived by her siblings, Mrs. Shaindel Wilhelm – London, Mrs. Rivkah Tenenbaum – Crown Heights, Rabbi Menachem Shagalow – Crown Heights, Rabbi Moshe Shagalow – Crown Heights, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Shagalow – Minnesota, and Rabbi Yisroel Leib Shagalow – California.
The levaya will take place today in Jerusalem.
