Mrs. Lea Slavin, a beloved mother and grandmother who exemplified Hachnosas Orchim, passed away on Friday, Shvii Shel Pesach, 5782.
She was 70.
Lea was born in Paris to Yehushua and Freida Korik, and lived just steps away from 770.
Over the years Lea opened her home to the Rebbe’s visitors, every Yom Tov and Shabbos, her home was filled with guests, and she exemplified the Mitzva of Hachnasos Orchim.
Lea brought up children who went out on shlichus, and support shluchim, all over the world.
She is survived by her husband Michoel, and children: Yosef Slavin (Caracas, Venezuela), Dina Blum (Ottawa), Chany Rapaport (Clarks Summit, PA), Yitzchok Slavin (Mississauga, ON), Mendel Slavin (San Clemente, CA) Dvory Deitsch (Toronto), Isser Slavin (Montreal), Shterny Bendet (Crown Heights), Miriam Kleinman (Crown Heights), Mordechai Slavin (Crown Heights), Zevi Slavin (Atlanta GA), and Berel Slavin (Dallas), Tzippy Slavin obm, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings.
The Levayah will take place Sunday, and will be passing 770 at approximately 2:00pm
Shiva will be in her home, 754 Eastern Parkway until Friday morning.
