Mrs. Eidel Samuels, a prominent baalas Chessed, Holocaust survivor, and matriarch to an illustrious Chassidishe family, passed away on Shabbos morning, 29 Nissan, 5779.
She was 92.
Mrs. Samuels was born to the renowned Prague Rov, Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Hakohein Rappaport and his wife, Rebbetzin Leah Malka.
She survived the Holocaust, eventually arriving in America.
She married Rabbi Moshe Yechezkel Samuels OBM, a beloved Magid Shiur for many years in Torah Vadaas Yeshiva in Brooklyn.
Despite the horrors she lived through, she spent her life helping others with grace and wisdom.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Yosef Shlomo Samuels – Milwaukee, WI, Rabbi Shraga Samuels – Jerusalem, Israel, Mrs. Leah Malka Bamberger – Manchester, UK, R’ Asher Samuels – Brooklyn, NY, Rabbi Beirish Samuels – Monsey, NY, and Rabbi Elimelech Samuels – Bensonhurst, NY, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place Sunday, passing by 770 at 2:00 pm.
Shivah will be at 195 Division Ave, #4C, Brooklyn, NY.
