Mrs. Devorah Butman, a longtime devoted Shlucha in Tel Aviv, Israel passed away on Shabbos, 10 Nissan, 5783.
Mrs. Butman served as head of the Nshei Chabad in Israel, with encouragement from the Rebbe, and with great dedication. She led the growth of all the satellite Nshei chapters throughout Israel and spoke at all the gatherings.
She was the wife of the Chossid and Mashpia Rabbi Sholom Ber Butman, Gabbai in the Nachalas Binyomin Shul in Tel Aviv and Shliach in Nachalas Binyomin.
She is survived by her children, Rabbi Yosef Yitchok Butman – Lod, Israel, Rabbi Eliyahu Yochanan Butman – Chadera, Israel, Rabbi Yehuda Butman – Ramat Hasharon, Israel and Mrs. Michla Segal, wife of Rabbi Shloime Yehuda Segal of Crown Heights.
She was predeceased by her son, Rabbi Yisroel Boruch Butman of Naharia, Israel.
The Levaya took place in Israel on Motzei Shabbos, Shiva will take place at her home until Erev Pesach.
