Mrs. Chava (Yvette) Suissa, a resident of Montreal, Canada, passed away on the Rebbe’s birthday, 11 Nissan 5779.
She was 82.
Mrs. Suissa, who resided in Montreal, devoted much of her time to chessed work and always kept an open home for guests. She helped organize dozens of trips to the Rebbe to receive a dollar and a blessing.
Friends said she devoted her spare time to organizing fundraisers for the community. She was well-known to fundraise at all hours of the day for those in need. Her generosity was known to all.
She is survived by her husband Yaakov Suissa, and children Corinne Ohana, Sandra Backman of Crown Heights, and Alvin Suissa, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The levaya will take place Wednesday, April 17 in Paperman’s, Montreal and shiva will be at 5740 Rembrandt, #404, Cote St. Luc.
