Mrs. Chana Chanowitz of New York, wife of R’ Chaim Chanowitz obm, passed away on Monday, Sivan 14, 5775.
She is survived by her children Bentzion (Buzzy) Chanowitz, Benjy (Binyomin) Chanowitz, and Ellen (Elka) Chanowitz.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday, June 2nd at 1:00 PM at Plaza Memorial Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10024 (91st Street).
Shiva will take place at 225 W. 86th St., New York, New York apartment 110. More details to follow.

To #5. She and her husband Reb Chaim z”l lived in Manhattan. They were “ambassadors” of The Rebbe on Shlaimut Haaretz and hosted many dignitaries from Eretz Yisroel on that count. They would come to Crown Heights every Simchas Torah and Shavuos for many years as well as Reb Chaim and his son coming for Yom Kippur with The Rebbe.
