Mrs. Anna Firszt, a beloved mother, grandmother and educator, passed away on Tuesday, 6 Shvat, 5784.
Anna was born to her parents, Shmuel and Raizel Perelmuter, longtime members of the Montreal Lubavitch community. She taught at Jewish day schools in Montreal for over 35 years.
She most recently lived in Toronto, Canada.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jose Firszt.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Natalie Firszt-Padveen (Los Angeles) and family, Dr. Ray Firszt (Utah) and family, Dr. Matthew Firszt (Toronto) and family.
She is also survived by her brother Rabbi Abba Perelmuter, Shliach in Long Beach, CA.
The Levaya will take place Thursday in Toronto.
