Mosdoth Day Care Center at 420 Lefferts Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, remained closed Tuesday, January 5, due to flooding from a burst pipe.
Children were evacuated at 2:00 pm on Monday, and the Jewish school was immediately put under repair.
“The problem has been taken care of and school will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan 6, for a full day,” the director Chaya Zaetz informed COLlive.
Mosdoth was founded in 1972 as one of the 70 new institutions established around the world in honor of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s birthday.
160 boys and girls learn in 9 classes.
After almost 30 years, I still have Fond memories of the Mosdos Daycare. I now run A daycare for over 150 children and I pray that I can have a positive impact as Mosdos had on me. 🙂 Wishing all the staff there Hatzlocha Rabbah !!
Thank you
You all did a amazing job yesterday.
