Not long ago in Russia, kosher products were only being sold in specialized stores, but thanks to the continued efforts to expand distribution, kosher certified food are now being made available at major supermarkets.
Now, anyone will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of kosher food products at stores belonging to the Mosmart supermarket network.
The company’s management began looking into how they could ensure the availability of kosher products in their stores since the opening of Mosmart Supermarkets.
At the chain’s inauguration in 2003, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar was promised by Mosmart shareholder Mikhail Bezelyansky that the supermarket chain would actively promote kosher products on the Russian market.
Today, there is virtually no competitor on the Moscow market that can boast such a large assortment of kosher products as Mosmart.
Separate kosher food departments have been opened in all of its branches – on Yaroslavskoye Shosse, Dmitrovskoye Shosse, Borovskoye Shosse and in the Tushino district.
