Tomchei Temimim of Morristown – Rabbinical College of America celebrated their annual Chag Hasiyum on Tuesday of the Mivtza Torah program for the bochurim that studied the whole Masechta Shabbos Baal peh.
In a grand ceremony, the bochurim were awarded certificates and prizes which were sponsored by an alum and dear friend of the Yeshiva, Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald, founder of the Kolel L’horaah Ma’asis in Crown Heights and community activist.
Rabbi Greenwald was in attendance at the event, and shared words of chizuk with the bochurim.
The Yeshiva is under the leadership of Rabbi Moshe Herson, Dean of the Yeshiva and Head Shliach of New Jersey, and Menahel of the Yeshiva and Head of the Semicha program Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, who served as MC of the event.
The bochurim were also addressed by Rabbi Shalom Spalter, who heads the Mivtza Torah Program.
Rabbi Aaron D. Ganz, who gives an iyun class throughout the year, spoke as well, and presented awards to his students.
Bochur Moshe Arye Engel from Denver, Colorado addressed the event, and bochur Shmuly Begun from S Paulo, Brazil made the Siyum on Masechta Shabbos.
Special recognition was made to bochur Ashi Seper from the Five Towns, NY, who finished learning the entire Shas during his 3 years in the Yeshiva.
The Chavrei Maareches of the Yeshiva, Levi Greenberg and Avrohom Goldberg, were recognized for their work, having produced 2 Kovtzim and a Sefer during this year.
