A beautiful ceremony was held last week to welcome the new shluchim to the Mesivta of Montreal, headed Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Gershon Zirkind.
The group of five bochurim, sent by Oholei Torah of Brooklyn, NY, arrived late last week in Montreal and were greeted by the staff and students.
The students of the Yeshiva were positively impacted by the event and by the new Shluchim and many of them made strong resolutions for the coming year to strengthen their study of Nigleh and Chassidus as well as their behavior.
The new Shluchim were also impressed by the warm welcome from the staff and students and are excited about starting the year in this new enviroment.
Greeting the Shluchim were: Rabbi Gershon Zirkind – Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Dovid Leib Myhill – Mashpia and Magid Shiur, Rabbi Shmuel Zirkind – Mashpia and Magid Shiur and Mr. Shimi Traurig – Administrator of the Rabbinical College of Canada.

The new Yeshiva is for shiur aleph only, run by Rabbi Pesach Sperlin with teachers Rabbi Raskin and Rabbi Mellul, Has 20 boys,
The Yeshiva in this article is for shiur beis and gimmel and has about 10 boys, and now 5 Shluchim.
and Rabbi Raskin who ran the montreal mesivtah (the mesivtah of the above pics) for years!!!!. i agree with u 1000 percent. and the mesivtah is doing amazing!!!!

its the new mesivta in montreal. located at anshei lubavitch on trans islan av. its run by rabbi pesach sperlin and iv heard lots of great things about it. its supposed to be an amazing yeshiva!
Thanks to Rabbis Sperlin, Raskin & Mellul, it’s a grade younger, I believe. Doing a great job. But as # 6 said, how come they don’t get shluchim also?

which new mesivta is ateres menachem. i never heard of such a yeshiva. where is it located. who runs it.
