Yud Tes Kislev, the Rosh Hashana of Chassidus, was celebrated by hundreds of chassidim at Congregation Lubavitch in the Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim building in Montreal, Canada.
Participants sat at long set tables for a meal, beginning with a video of the Rebbe and continuing with singing Padah B’shalom and other niggunim.
Words of Torah and Chassidus were said by the Av Beis Din of Montreal, Rabbi Yonasan Binyomin Weiss, Lubavitch Dayan Rabbi Berel Bell, and Rabbi Mordechai Dov Beck, a descendant of the Alter Rebbe and the Viznitz dayan in Montreal.
The guest speaker was Rabbi Zalman Wilschanski, Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Tmimim in Morristown, NJ, who spoke about the power of learning Tanya.
Was really beautiful and inspiring… Rabbi Wilschanski is a wonderful speaker.
