Mesivta Monticello announces several exciting developments: a second shiur, the formation of an excellent Vaad Ruchni, and a wonderful dorm.
“Although the opening of the new Mesivta in Monticello was only announced relatively recently, Boruch Hashem there has been a lot of interest,” says menahel Rabbi Binyamin Mills.
Due to higher than expected enrollment, the yeshiva will be having two levels of shiurim for niglah, in order to better enable each bochur to receive a shiur in a manner that will maximize his potential.
In addition, Mesivta Monticello is pleased to announce the formation of its Advisory Board of Mashpiim and Mechanchim. As it is crucial for any mossad chinuch to have guidance in all matters pertaining to a yeshiva, the importance of a third party vaad is invaluable.
Rabbi Shlomo Sternberg, menahel of Tomchei Temimim Chovevei Torah, Rabbi Mendel Levin, mashpia in Westchester Yeshiva, and Rabbi Meir Rodal, mashpiah in Oholei Torah and Chovevei Torah Mesivta will serve as the yeshiva’s Vaad Ruchni.
The vaad will be the address to which the hanholo will address any questions or concerns they have and receive guidance.
The yeshiva is also hiring a number of talented and devoted eltere bochurim to help teach and guide the bochurim and create an avir of Chassidishkeit and Hiskashrus.
The bochurim will be housed in a comfortable state-of-the-art dorm adjacent to the learning Zal.
The yeshiva recognizes the importance of bochurim having healthy and productive outlets in their spare time. Therefore the Yeshiva will have regular extra curricular activities including usage of nearby parks, as well as a beautiful indoor recreational center a short drive away.
The yeshiva is geared for bochurim who are serious about learning and growing in their avodas Hash-m, and would benefit from a warm personal atmosphere.
With a few places left, the yeshiva is accepting applications. The official start date is set for the 18 Elul.
Also offering a yoshvim program, Zal bochurim interested in staying for Elul should be in contact soon.
