Rabbi Gedalia Oberlander, Rov of Congregation Heichal Menachem in Monsey, NY, was the guest speaker at the Yud Beis Tammuz Farbrengen held in the main shul of Kfar Chabad in central Israel.
Rabbi Oberlander grew up as a Pupa chossid and served as a choizer of the Pupa Rebbe R’ Yosef Greenwald OBM. After living in Jerusalem, he came up with the idea to open a branch of Heichel Menachem as a Chassidic library and center in Monsey. He’s on the editorial board of Chassidus Mevueres.
Speaking in Kfar Chabad, he highlighted the special meaning of the day, celebrated as the day of liberation of the Rebbe Rayatz from Communist prison.
Speaking were also Kfar Chabad Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, Mashpia Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Bukiet, Rabbi Dov Dverdovitch and Rabbi Harel Fedida, Rov of the Asaf Harofe medical center.
