Monroe Women Gather

This week Chabad of Monroe hosted their first annual women’s luncheon, with the theme of The Jewish Woman – The Yiddishe Mame.

Over 70 women attended the event held at a formal hall, and enjoyed a fine luncheon and inspiring lecture by Long Island shlucha Mrs. Chaya Teldon.

Mrs. Teldon is renowned for her entertaining and inspiring lectures, complete with stories and anecdotes, and even a few nigunim on her guitar. The event made a strong and positive impression on all the participants, who remarked that they were taking with them the inspiration to continue to add in their good deeds.
