As we will soon mark one month since the heinous attacks in Israel on October 7th, we write to inform you that JCRC-NY and UJA-Federation of New York have organized and mobilized for another community-wide gathering to express our community’s solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Israel.
Just as we sent a clarion message to the citizens of Israel, and to the entire world, just 3 days after the attacks of October 7th by gathering upwards of 20,000 in support of Israel, we will again gather to raise our voices and to demonstrate that we are there, and will continue to be there, for the people of Israel.
The gathering will take place on Monday, November 6th, at Central Park West between 83rd & 85th Streets, gates open at 4:00pm, program to begin at 5:30PM.
Elected officials are expected to join community leaders and New Yorkers of all backgrounds at the “United for Israel” vigil and rally on Monday, November 6th.
The vigil and rally is being organized by UJA-Federation of New York (UJA) and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY), as well as ADL-NY, AJC-NY, the American Zionist Movement, the Association of Reform Zionists of America and the Jewish National Fund USA.
Special performances by Gad Elbaz and Idan Raichel.
