Sunday brought an unusual guest to MetLife. The famous football Stadium hosted the two NHL hockey teams from New York for an expedition “Stadium Series” game.
This provided an opportunity for some serious Mivtzoim. Chabad of the Meadowlands was on scene pre-Game With mivtza Tefillin, Neshek, kosher food and Farbrengen levels of camaraderie and shmoozing.
This “Teffilin and Tailgate” served as the capstone for the 2023 football season, during which 91 people had their Bar Mitzvah and put on Tefillin for the first time, among the thousands that put on Tefillin.
