Chabad of Beitar helped the local district police and reserve soldiers staying in the city perform the miztvahs of Purim per the Rebbe’s instructions, including Megillah readings and giving out mishloach manos.
Senior Commander of the district police Moshe Finzi welcomed Chabad of Beitar with great joy and expressed his thanks for all the magnificent work and support for the soldiers and personnel over the past two years and beyond.
Chabad of Beitar focuses on being a source of spiritual strength and support for the soldiers, reservists and security personnel in the area.
Specifically at times like these, and on a day such as the yomtov of Purim, when the Jewish people in the Holy Land find themselves yet again in a predicament not so un-similar to the Purim story so many years ago, let us focus our energy to those on the front lines!
