A Mitzvah Tank Parade went out to drive around the streets of New York City in honor of the Rebbe’s 116th birthday on Yud Alef Nissan.
On board of the tanks were Chassidim, bochurim and young children who are spending the day reminding Jewish people of all backgrounds of the upcoming yomtov of Pesach.
Aside from putting on Teffilin with thousands, and distributing hundreds of pounds of Matza, the Mitzvah Tanks Parade brings across the Rebbe’s message to all New Yorkers.
The parade is a project of the Mitzvah Tank Organization, under the auspices of Lubavitch Youth Organization. They thanked all the donors, volunteers and the NYPD, and the 71st precinct for making this year’s parade possible.
