A group of bochurim from Brunoy yeshiva organized a widespread Chanukah mivtzoim campaign in Rome, Italy.
Riding around town in a well-equipped mitzvah tank, they participated in numerous public menorah lightings, including the first ever public menorah lighting near the Colosseum.
The bochurim gave out over 350 menorahs, and brought the joy and light of Chanukah to hundreds of Jews in Rome, both local residents and many tourists from Israel and other countries. The successful campaign was the talk of town, and its effects reverberate throughout the city.

Interesting fact, the colosseum was built with the money and valuables looted from the churban of the beis hamikdash and Jewish slave labor. Amazing that mivtzoim was done right there where thousands of years ago this was the embodiment of triumph over the Jewish people.
