As Yud Shevat approaches, Arizona Mesivta is gearing up for the important day, and the local Cheder is getting a taste of the preparations.
Yud Shevat is a significant date for Chassidim and specifically Bochurim in Mesivtas around the world, often on their minds weeks in advance.
With a Mivtza that stimulates a Bochur’s day and week, including ‘Hashkem’ early morning learning, Seder Sichos, “75 Minute” viewing of Farbrengens and more, Arizona Mesivta found a void that can be filled – Mishmar learning events with the local Cheder.
Every Wednesday night the Bochurim are now joined by the boys from the 8th Grade to learn Sichos. Giving the younger Bochurim a taste of the Rebbe’s Sichos and the environment of a Yeshiva, at a most appropriate time of the year.
“Take a look at the energy as the walls are filled with learning,” organizers said. “See the Koch as the big day approaches.”
