Mrs. Miriam Mintz, the beloved wife of Rabbi Mendel Mintz, recently appointed Shluchim in Maryland, passed away on Thursday, 4 Av, 5784.
She was 30 years old.
Miriam was the wife of Mendel Mintz, a Chabad activist who is known for creating inspiring large scale events and programs which unite Chassidim during special days.
Miriam was raised in Baltimore, and they were married in 2022. The young couple were devoted to the Rebbe’s Shlichus, and only a month ago, on Gimmel Tammuz, were appointed as Shluchim to Pasadena and Glen Burnie, Maryland under Rabbi Nochum Light and with the assistance of Head Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan.
Miriam was a beloved educator who impacted thousands of children. She was a longtime teacher for over 10 years at TA – Talmudical Academy in Baltimore.
Miriam was a true partner in her husband’s work, supporting him in all his endeavors.
Miriam was moser nefesh in her efforts to build a Jewish family. She underwent a fertility procedure earlier this week which led to complications. Tragically, she passed away today.
She is survived by her husband Mendel.
She is also survived by her parents, Gershon and Elisheva Fink and in laws, Rabbi Efraim and Shaina Basha Mintz, and siblings.
The Levaya will take place on Friday at 9:15 a.m. in Talmudical Academy of Baltimore, where Miriam taught:

I was speaking with my mashpia about this concept
When Hashem puts someone in a matzav and then another matzav within the original matzav and it is day after day ‘another thing’
He told me, one of Hashem’s goals is that the person should find a way to be b’simcha all the time
I hope Hashem helps the family to find a way to see all of this from Hashem’s Perspective and to transform the situation, as only they are gifted to know how
May Moshiach come and give them the ultimate answers
This hurts like a family member.
We love you Mendel, may Hashem give you all the physical and emotional strength you need.
What an incomprehensible loss! BDE No words to say.

As We are approaching Tisha Be’av may it be an extremely joyous Yom Tov and together, with Miriam Mintz and all of our loved ones, we will all be singing and dancing together, may all that & more take place Bim’hayra Be’yamaynu Be’korov Mamish
