Haredi weekly Mishpacha magazine has endorsed Michael Bloomberg for a third term as Mayor of New York City.
“In his eight years in office, Mr. Bloomberg has taken an energetic and level-headed approach to a wide variety of city problems, including education, poverty and security,” they wrote.
Bloomberg has given Mishpacha writer Rabbi Yitzchok Frankfurter an exclusive interview for their cover story this week, ahead of the November 3 elections.
The cover of the Hebrew edition features a photo of Bloomberg during a Sukkos visit to Crown Heights hosted by real estate mogul Sholom Ber Drizin.
In the photo are seen: Rabbi Yaakov Schwei, Member of the Crown Heights Beis Din; Eli Slavin; businessman Shmuel Malamud, his son Moshe Malamud and grandson Yisroel.
A video clip of the mayor’s visit was posted on his campaign website, highlighting his commitment to local Jewish communities.
