An emotional moment was captured this week in Kfar Chabad: Rabbi Levi Wilmowsky, longtime director of Chabad institutions in the northern Israeli city of Migdal HaEmek, was seen walking on his own two feet.
Rabbi Wilmowsky recently endured a serious medical ordeal, including a stroke just before Pesach and a lengthy hospitalization at Shamir Medical Center.
His condition had been critical. But with Hashem’s help, he has made a remarkable recovery.
Just two weeks ago, he was filmed singing heartfelt Chabad niggunim from his hospital bed with the Mezamrim choir who came to visit him.
