The following notice was sent from Camp Emunah to parents on Monday, Tammuz 21, 5780:
Dear Parents, sheyichyu,
We are breathing the pure, fresh air of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania and it is truly invigorating. We are inspired by the beautiful views, we are enjoying the grounds, the lake, and the great facilities. But we really miss our home in Camp Emunah – Greenfield Park.
Our temporary home in Trout Lake has served us well.
But now we must be on the move to an even better, more spacious campsite, with more amenities, spacious bunks, two great pools, and even more exciting facilities.
So, from Greenfield Park to Trout Lake, to Green Lane, Pennsylvania.
In the new complex we will have enough room for all the Second Session campers, additional sports opportunities, added to the larger, airy bunks will make us miss the old Emunah just a little bit less.
The move will be carried out in stages, starting on Tuesday and being completed on Thursday. We will think of it as a great, exciting trip to a new frontier.
You can be assured that all precautions will be followed, including special regulations to protect our children from the pandemic.
No need for any calls or emails. Everything is under complete control.
The location of our new site is Green Lane, Pennsylvania.
With blessings for redemption from the sadness of the three weeks and the ultimate Geula, NOW!
Rebbetzin Chave Hecht and your dedicated Camp Emunah staff

i guess the kids got a trip this week!!

We see the incredible work that goes into our kids’ summers and we are so appreciative. The individual’s effort and involvement is crucial, and we want to thank you for everything you do, and are actively accomplishing. With the crazy changes and last minute arrangements, the flexibility necessary to appease everyone is enormous, and constantly being stretched. We see it, and we thank you for it. This summer is especially difficult, hopefully everyone on the recipients end recognizes that, and kudos to you ALL for doing your best under these strenuous circumstances. Truly the Rebbe’s shlichus, I’m sure he’s receiving… Read more »
