The Mesivta of Coral Springs has hired a new Menahel, Rabbi Yosef Eizicovics, to take the fledgling school to the next level.
Since his arrival this past year, the Yeshiva has been transformed, from a small mesivta going through some turbulent times, into a fully functional and structured Yeshiva.
Rabbi Eizicovics, originally from Toronto, Canada, is no stranger to the field of chinuch. After a brief stint teaching in Cheder Chabad Toronto, Rabbi Eizicovics worked tirelessly for 5 years in Yeshiva High-School of the Twin Cities as Sgan Menahel, where he supervised the running of the Yeshiva and cared for the physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing of the bochurim.
In addition to his many years experience, Rabbi Eizicovics has a natural rapport with bochurim and embodies certain characteristics which are essential for anyone involved in chinuch in today’s day and age. Anyone who has had any interaction with him knows of his natural sense of kindness, patience and his ability to empathize with bochurim and parents alike.
Aware of the inevitable challenges, Rabbi Eizicovics stepped up to the plate, and took responsibility for the smooth running of the Mesivta, introducing a sense of professionalism and consistency to the Yeshiva.
Aided by a talented team of mechanchim, Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Dovid Janowski, and maggid shiur Rabbi Zevi Shusterman, a structured learning system which enables bochurim to develop in learning at their own pace was successfully implemented. Such a system is fundamental for bochurim to grow in learning and by extension feel productive and happy.
Aside from a structured learning program, the personal attention Rabbi Eizicovics strives to give each bochur, has been key in the positive progression in bochurim throughout the year. “The results are palpable,” say the school’s director. “We are seeing happy, chassidishe bochurim who excel in learning.”
The Mesivta boasts a learning program with an emphasis on building independent learning skills, employing a specially designed curriculum and innovative learning materials which empower the bochurim to develop at their own pace.
“We believe that gradual success in learning will infuse a bochur with passion and enjoyment in learning and in life,” says the director. “We offer each bochur personal and individualized attention to ensure they maximize their potential and provide them with the warmth, care, guidance and support every teenager needs and deserves,” he says.
After a year of tremendous success under the leadership of the new Menahel, Mesivta of Coral Springs has now opened registration for the 5773 school year. The Mesivta of Coral Springs offers a warm and vibrant environment to bochurim in which growing into Chassidim and Talmidim will be a positive and enriching experience.

It takes an Emese Chassidishe yid to truly turn around aza Moised! Think about an Ocean Liner (for Florida we must use a Floiridian example) which is going the wrong way. Can it be turned around easily? NO! It takes a huge amount of effort, tireless work, to make it turn. There is tons of work that goes into it, not just turning the wheel like a car – pressure valves, gauges, wind, current , organizing staff are all key components of making a successful turn. If one think goes wrong chalila v’echas it can capsize right away. And does… Read more »
