Living on Shlichus close to a frum community presents many advantages. Your children can go to the local mosdos, and pick up and drop off become a regular part of the routine, twice daily. This all changes when Mesivta begins. The schedule is longer, starting earlier in the day, with different breaks, and includes an evening Seder as well. Suddenly, the convenience of driving in becomes a burden. To alleviate this, Mesivta Ateres Menachem is looking forward to helping the local Shluchim the coming year by opening a small dorm, catering to their needs. With a warm and chassidish environment, the dorm will be offering catered meals, caring supervision and comfortable accommodations.
Mesivta Ateres Menachem in Montreal has announced that there are a few spots available in their small dorm for the following year.
At a quiet location, a few short blocks from the bustling enclave of Lubavitch in Montreal, the yeshiva seamlessly integrates into this long-standing community celebrated for its vibrant Chassidishe life. But what really makes the mesivta stand out are its warm and caring hanhala, magidei shiur and mashpiim. “It’s a shlichus of the Rebbe,” says Rabbi Raskin with true conviction, “to be able to help bochurim develop their hiskashrus, how to daven, how to learn, their frumkeit, derech eretz, and middos tovos. Chinuch is a davar hachi chashuv!”
Mesivta Ateres Menachem puts a firm focus on the needs of every Bachur. Whether it be extra guidance in learning, a friendly good morning or even a quick phone call to a parent regarding a missing winter coat, the faculty at the Mesivta care for every students’ needs, in their growth and their emotions. The close knit environment helps the Bachurim develop strong and lasting friendships, and gives each boy a true sense of belonging.
