‘Mesibos Shabbos’ This Week in 770

A grand Mesibos Shabbos will be taking place at 770 Eastern Parkway this Shabbos, 4:30-5:30 PM.

Children will be reciting 12 Pesukim and saying Tehillim for the speedy recovery of the beloved teacher Rabbi Shmarya Katzen (Shmarya ben Chaya).

There will be nosh given out and all participants will be entered in a raffle for an electric scooter, sets of seforim and a remote control car.

“For close to 40 years, Rabbi Katzen faithfully ran a weekly Mesibas Shabbos in 770,” organizers said. “This Shabbos, unfortunately, our beloved Rabbi Katzen is not in a position to run it.

”Rabbi Katzen was there for us and our children all these years. This Shabbos, it is our turn to be there for him. We’re asking all children to attend this week’s Mesibas Shabbos to say the 12 Pesukim in the Zechus of his immediate Refuah Shleima!”
