Beth Rivkah Academy in Montreal held a ‘Leil Shishi’ Kumzitz and BBQ on Thursday night to raise funds for the Chabad girls’ school that provides quality Jewish education.
The event was attended by people from different backgrounds and communities, who came together to support the school and enjoy a night of music, food, and inspiration.
The event was hosted by Pinny Gniwisch in the backyard of his family home in S. Agathe, a town in the province of Quebec. It was co-hosted by Moshe Neiman and Michael Flinker. Emcee for the event was Nochum Greenwald.
The BBQ was prepared by the professional chef Ari Raskin, who cooked a delicious bbq spread for the guests.
The kumzits was led by Berish Weiser, a talented singer who performed various songs that uplifted the crowd. The attendees sang with him, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere.
The event also featured inspirational words on the value of Beis Rivka and its mission to educate the next generation of Jewish women.
The highlight of the event was the spectacular achdus (unity) that was displayed by the attendees. Jews of all types, including yeshivish, chasidish, and safardi, joined the event in unity.
The organizers thanked all the sponsors, volunteers, and participants for making it possible. They also expressed their hope that such events will continue to strengthen the school and the community.
