I was his classmate in grade/middle school in detroit. We were the two Menachem Mendels in a non-lubavitch school.
We were pretty close growing up and I am going to miss him. He was taken from us way too soon. I will always remember him as a fifth grader smiling and laughing while riding our bikes after class or hanging out Shabbos afternoon…
If you can help the family cover the cost of the burial please donate https://thechesedfund.com/chasdeielimelech/bennettburialfund
I don’t even know what to say. Mendy was a real one. He was always kind to me, always ready to do a favor. I’ll miss him.

May Hashem grant the family strength and comfort and may this young man bang down the gates of Golus
So terribly sorry to see this tragic news.
There are just no words.

I was Mendy’s classmate for several years in grade/middle school. We were the only “Menachem Mendel”s in a non-lubavitch school. We were pretty close friends growing up. I’ll always remember him as a happy 4th/5th grader smiling and laughing while we rode our bikes after class or hanging out at each other’s house on Shabbos afternoon….
You will be missed Mendy
Heartbreaking. I wish the family a lot of nechama. He will truly be missed. Moshiach now!
A beloved member of our Beit T’Shuvah community. He will be missed.
Moshiach Now!!!
So very sorry to hear this.
I was friends with Mendy when we were younger. He was such a happy kid and so much fun to be with. It’s so sad to see this news. BD”E
