Women in Melbourne, Australia gathered together to celebrate Tu B’av with a unique and original Shidduch meeting.
The highlight of the event was a L’chayim plate decorating activity, led by renowned Shidduch coach and Shadchan Toby Lieder.
The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, as women selected from the assortment of paints and decorations, choosing how to best decorate the plate for their child’s future L’chayim.
“The intention was to strengthen positivity and hope that soon we will soon be breaking this plate at our children’s Lchayim!” one participant said.
The event included the reciting of Tehillim specifically for Tu B’av and shidduchim, and the writing of a Pan to the Rebbe.
The women also heard words of inspiration by Toby Lieder and announced “Amen” together, as women called out names for shidduchim or refuah shlaima.
“The power of Amen together will break down all the gates to Heaven and Hashem will truly bless us all,” Mrs. Lieder said.
Riva Cohen eloquently delivered a talk on Tu B’av, followed by a talk by guest speaker Cila Holzman.
The shidduch meeting was tastefully and beautifully hosted by Michi Gestetner.
