Since the Kinus Mechanchos Chabad this summer, educators have been buzzing, wanting to learn, collaborate, and continue to grow in Chinuch. Menachem Education Foundation (MEF) is responding to the call, by launching a series of monthly webinars for the new school year.
On Tuesday, September 17 – י”ד אלול, Mrs. Mushka Gopin will be presenting a webinar called “The One Secret Skill That Enables You to Understand Every Child, Set Up the Preschool Classroom, and Communicate with Parents” at 8:30 PM EST. The webinar is free of charge for all early childhood Mechanchos and will take place online, at the link mymef.org/webinars.
Mrs. Mushka Gopin is an acclaimed educator of a wide range of grade levels, and zooms in on early childhood education, the foundational years of Chinuch. She is a mother of four and a parent educator, who draws on her experience in the classroom and knowledge of childhood development to share with parents and teachers how textbook theories can be applied in real life. She is also the founder of Mothering Mindset, a popular social media platform and blog inspiring mothers to bring their best in child centered chinuch al taharas hakodesh to her children.
The webinar series will target the needs of different demographics in Chinuch each month. In August, MEF partnered with Ohel to offer a panel webinar on “Top 10 Tools to Start the School Year Strong,” featuring Mushkie Lipsker, Brett Kugler and Yonina Lerner for elementary and high school webinars. In November, Mrs. Rivka Fishman will present a webinar on bully-proofing your classroom, as well as a bonus webinar for mothers on bully-proofing your children.
MEF also offers monthly farbrengens online, a wealth of teaching resources and support on their website mymef.org, and a range of in-person events including the summer Kinus Mechanchos Chabad and Kinus Hamechanchim, and a mid-year Leadership Retreat.
