“Meat,” New York’s trendy new destination for fine kosher dining and an elevated food experience in Crown Heights, has recently unveiled its exquisite liquor menu.
Having received a liquor license, the new restaurant has begun pairing drinks with its superbly fine dining from Executive Chef Reem Look.
The menu includes a full selection of liquor from around the world, and a full selection of exquisite wines, some of which are from wineries that were willing to make mevushal versions exclusively for Meat, says the owner Danny Branover, of “Basil Pizza and Wine Bar” and “Bakerie.”
“Usually, it’s a problem to get mevushal wines of this caliber, but they agreed to make them especially for us,” he says, noting that the restaurant’s mixologist Liz follows the latest drink trends.
Here’s are 4 signature cocktails at Meat:
Amaretto Sour
Combination of amaretto with bourbon, fresh citrus juice, rich simple syrup and egg white creates perfectly balanced frothy, sweet, sour, nutty and easy to drink cocktail.
Butterfly Effect
Uncomplicated, fresh, light and timeless Gin Fizz made with Butterfly Pea infused gin. Velvety texture and floral pallet are coming together in one drink.
NY Sour
The New York Sour boats together all the deliciousness of Whiskey Sour, with an added boost of dry red wine float.
Pomegranate Molasses
Refreshing combination of homemade grenadine, fresh basil, lime juice and Tito’s vodka. Rich and fizzy.
