Amongst the fun filled schedule of Machane Heights day camp: davening, biking, learning, trips and more, Machane Heights has added something special.
This year, Machane Heights has added an in-depth learning of the perush hamilos of davening. Before Shacharis each morning, the boys delve into a deep and engaging session to learn about tefillah, adding more meaning and Chayus to their davening. Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, Tzivos Hashem program director, has generously given from his time and agreed to lead the boys in this incredible learning adventure.
Rabbi Weinbaum chooses a section in davening for the boys to delve into and discuss. The campers share their knowledge on the specific section of davening chosen and Rabbi Weinbaum shares his insights and adds to the meaning of the tefillos with his vast knowledge. Davening in Machane Heights this year is a special experience, a davening unprecedented. Come and join and get inspired!
Machane Heights is a biking camp in Crown Heights based out of Lubavitch Yeshiva, and run by Rabbi Blasberg, for 6-8th grade boys from all schools including, ULY, Oholei Torah, Darchei Menachem and more. Camp has set off with a great start and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer!
