On Sunday night a joyful farbrengen was held at Mayanot Women’s Program as Musya Goldman, the first shlucha to Mayanot Women’s Program was returning home to South Africa for her upcoming marriage to Mendel Shemtov from Montevideo, Uruguay.
The goodbye farbrengen was an opportunity for the Mayanot administration, headed by Rabbi Shlomo Gestetner and Rabbi Meir Levinger, to thank Musya for her incredible dedication to the women of Mayanot and to her shlichus. Musya was the first Shlucha to Mayanot and has left a lasting impact with hundreds of students.
Mayanot is a popular destination for South African Students and tens of students from South Africa have returned back to their home town; bringing the Mayanot revolution back to South Africa.
