In honor of Yud Tes Kislev the Shluchim to the state of Massachusetts gathered together at Chabad of Lexington, for a warm and joyous Farbrengen led by Rabbi Mendel Lipskar, the Rebbe’s Head Shliach to South Africa.
Rabbi Lipskar Farbrenged till the wee hours of the morning, captivating the Shluchim with insights into his personal Yechidus’in and special directives the Rebbe instructed him early on in his Shlichus.
He encouraged the shluchim to continue to be united in bringing the Rebbe’s message to their communities.

To NO 9 the real reason that there is so much yiddishkeit in South Africa is not only because of the Lipskars – they were not the first shluchim sent by the Rebbe – Rabbi and Mrs Bernard were. The Lipskars came many years later due to Rabbi Bernard and Rabbi Koppel Bacher. Both of these Rabbis are also Shluchim of the Rebbe and have just as many remarkable stories and have done wonderful work in kiruv as have the Lipskars.
The reason South Africa is a huge center of Yiddishkeit!
