A perpetrator stole an expensive scooter on Shabbos afternoon from a private property in Crown Heights.
The theft occurred at approximately 3:00 PM near Crown St and Brooklyn Ave. The perpetrator arrived in a grey Nissan Altima with a temporary plate and spent about 20 minutes casing the area before breaking the lock and stealing the scooter from a private property. He wore a face mask during the theft.
The same suspect was seen returning to the area Sunday at approximately 4:00 PM. On Monday, Shmira received multiple reports of a similar vehicle with Illinois plates carrying three masked men acting suspiciously near Brooklyn Ave and Crown St, and Albany Ave and Crown St.

Please be aware of your surroundings. In case of an emergency, call 911 and Shmira 24/7 at 718-221-0303.

I heard today about 2. TWO scooters stolen in about the same day or few days in between in the same location! (Not the one of the video)
I had enough of these thieves!!! Arrest them and keep them in jail! They obviously aren’t learning their lesson by being let out. When they steal our stuff and packages, we have to deal with the companies for hours and hours and it’s not fair anymore!
Keep your scooters Locked and Indoors
