Married Chabad women are being offered a six-part “refresher course” on family purity, helping to build Jewish homes based on Jewish tradition and law.
And it’s being offered free.
The project is organized by Taharas Hamishpacha International and Mikvah.org, in conjunction with Junior N’shei Chabad, Congregation Bais Shmuel Chabad, Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) / Torah Café, Oihel Nosson, and the new Mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka of Crown Heights.
“Fulfill a horo’ah close to our Rebbe’s heart and bring bracha to your entire family by making your observance of these vital laws better than ever,” the organizers said.
The classes will be delivered in Crown Heights at the Rubashkin residence 1349 President Street, but women from around the world will be able to join via live feed.
It will be beginning Monday, January 23, 2012 at 8:15 PM and will run for 5 consecutive Mondays thereafter, same time and same location, for a total of six classes.
Each review class will be presented by top-notch educators and professionals in all areas of marriage and relationships, covering all pertinent halachos and hashkafos.
Both the web and live audiences are encouraged to participate during a question and answer session at the conclusion of each class.
To sign up and receive instructions to log on to the live web feed, email [email protected].
It is being dedicated in memory of Rochel bas Avrohom and Chana Leah bas Shimon (sheyichye). Others interested in sponsoring an evening to commemorate a loved one or in honor a special date, can email [email protected]
are there plans to make a refresher chossun classes? Some men never really learned the ins and outs of family life from a professional, like rabbi Chaikin. Often times women are more knowledgeable than their husbands in many important inyonim of married life…
to #7 who says over 30 is not junior? If you feel young your junior and invited to these events. A big thank you to taharas hamishpacha.org this is amazing. I usually take a refresher course every few years and pay for it…so this is amazing
