Markowitz Prepares Annual Kiddushim for Thousands

R’ Nachum Markowitz’s fleet of trucks carrying thousands of pounds of food and overflow pallets lining eastern Parkway are a hallmark of Tishrei in Lubavitch.

Now in its 41st year, the annual Kidushim and distributions were encouraged and promoted by the Rebbe and have been enjoyed by generations of Chasidim.

Thousands of pounds of meat, fish, artisanal salads and dips, vegetables, fruit, beverages, breads and mezonos will nourish thousands over Yom Tov.

In his usual manner Markowitz is thankful to his donors and partners when praised about the project.

This year’s coordinated distributions are being sponsored by key partners in the program including the principal donor Rabbi Yitzchok Raitport who has just released the 37th volume of his series “Toras Bedvar Hamelech”. Rabbi and Rebbetzin Raitport have been the main sponsors of the Kidusha Raba marking the Yartzeit if their son Shalom Dovber who passed away on Simchas Torah morning 5761 upon returning from Tahalucha.

A moving tribute in memory of Rabbi Binyomin Klein OBM who graciously assisted the Kidushim, is prominently displayed.
