In honor of Rebbetzin Chana’s upcoming birthday on Chof Ches Teves, Machon Chana – named for Rebbetzin Chana, is holding a community-wide program for women.
The program will take place this Monday, Chof Ches Teves, at the Machon Chana dormitory.
Rabbi J.J. Hecht asked the Rebbe during one of the Rebbe’s visits to the dorm: “Since Machon Chana is your mother’s home, when is she here.”
The Rebbe responded, “Since the girls are continuing in her footsteps, her presence is always here.”
The evening will start at 8:00 p.m. and the speakers will begin promptly at 8:30 p.m.
Mrs. Esther Sternberg will speak, as well as a number of “Chanas” from around the world who will be calling in to share words of inspiration about how Rebbetzin Chana affected their lives.
A few musical numbers, “Shiras Chana,” by current Machon Chana students will lead into an opportunity for women to unite with soulful niggunim.
The evening will be live-streamed so that women around the world can join in and celebrate the birthday of “Eim HaMalchus,” the mother of royalty.
