A 40-year-old Israeli was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack near the Mearas Hamachpela in Hebron on Monday afternoon.
The terrorist was reportedly shot and killed by border police troops.
Zaki Yahav, an MDA paramedic told ynet, “When we arrived at the scene we saw a 40-year-old man lying on the floor, partially conscious with a number of stab wounds to his upper body. We immediately loaded him onto the ambulance in order to evacuate him to the hospital as soon as possible. We evacuated him while providing initial life saving care which included stopping the bleeding, and giving him fluids.”
ZAKA volunteer David Edrai: “We received notification of a terror attack near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron. I arrived at the scene with two other ZAKA volunteers. There we saw a seriously wounded Israeli who was evacuated to hospital. The terrorist had been shot dead.”
The ZAKA volunteers remained at the scene to clear the spilled blood and remove the terrorist’s body.
Monday’s attack was the second during the Chanukah holiday. Two Israelis were lightly wounded on Sunday evening on Yirmiyahu Street in Jerusalem in a vehicular attack.
The Palestinian arrived on the scene in a vehicle and hit two individuals who were lightly wounded in the incident. He then proceeded to exit the vehicle and stab a 65 year old who was also lightly wounded. He then fled down the street where a police unit stopped their vehicle to confront the attacker.
A solider who happened to be disembarking from a nearby bus shot and killed the terrorist.
please try to understadn, while you sit in your house in US in front of your computer, that it;s extremely difficult to prevent randomi stabbiongs and car rundowns. you can be carrying a gun, but can’t stop someone standing next to you, if one minute they appear quiet, calm and innocent, and the next they lunge at you with a knife. every car driving could veer onto the sidewalk. you can’t blame current people and police and soldiers.

It’s pathetic when a young woman runs in the Old City begging for help, the knife still in her neck, and the Arabs laugh? You think it’s pathetic when an elderly man, father of a Chabadnik, is hacked to death at a bus stop? Or when 2 teenage girls start stabbing people with scissors in Machane Yehuda?

when we first started hearing about stabbings, it was alarming. Now, its just pathetic. I would be surprised to see that no one was stabbed today. The Israeli government is very mysterious.
