And because of that, that the neighborhoods are safe and quiet…. And for the little disturbances that might present themselves, that the “Great and Awesome NYPD” were all that anyone needed for protection…….
Where I live, the residents of the neighborhood most probably would have taken care of the perpetrators themselves, just for disturbing the peace and waking them up at 3AM!
It’s no wonder we left CH 15 years ago! Everyone seems to still be living in a (very expensive) utopian alterworld, with no change in sight….. So sad.
Sorry to the family about this tragedy
All the “frum chassidishe” landlords just raise the rents on union about 100 bucks a month.
I saw the car with the bullet holes, though I came too late to know what happened prior to that
first was on Lefferts Ave between albany and Troy. we need more police on the streets 24/7 especially in the summer months when crime goes up. the community council is responsible to have this arranged. just because crown heights is emptier in the summer months, doesn’t mean we don’t need this protection.
I woke up from the noise, thought it was fireworks and went right back to bed…
Crazy!!
